KS1's walk to the park

Today, KS1 walked to their local park in Sun Hill Crescent.

As geographers, the children were carrying out fieldwork to help them with their geography 'key question'. Year One and Year Two are thinking about ways in which their local park can be improved to make it suitable for all seasons.

Whilst carrying out their fieldwork, the children looked at what they could already do in the park, what they might be able to do in each season and then how the park could be improved.

We were so proud of the children; their behaviour was outstanding and they have come back with many ideas of how to make the park better!
